Molded handles are mass-produced using the die-casting process.
To achieve this, hardwood veneers and thermosetting resins are used. At VIUDA DE JULIÁN NÚÑEZ, a world leader in innovation in materials for knife handles, cutlery and kitchen utensils, we offer two main brands: DUROFOL® molded handles and EVERGREEN® molded handles.

Durofol®
DUROFOL molded handles are more dishwasher-resistant and comply with the UNE-EN 10/2011 standard and amendments 2016/1416 and 2017/752, as handles suitable for contact with food.
Evergreen®
VIUDA DE JULIÁN NÚÑEZ has successfully combined experience, research and technology to create a new and exclusive material for handles: EVERGREEN®. The new technology applied to EVERGREEN® has resulted in exceptional handles with superior performance in terms of durability and lifespan – withstanding 400 cycles in an industrial dishwasher – compared to other products on the market.
